Egg crates can be purchased (surprisingly enough) at some craft stores. Another source could be hospital/home care companies, who provide bedding and such for bed-ridden patients. Hope you find what you are looking for!

I thought Walmart carried those. Not sure though.
if you go on target.com you can do a search and then check if they are in the store that you will be going to. i know target sells matress pads bought a cheep on to use at the hotels when i was on vacation. it improved my quality of life immensly
